The Vaporizer Battery

The Atomizer/Coil and Wick
Your atomizer connects to your battery and typically looks like a flat screw at the base. It holds the vaping liquid and the coil. The coil is the part responsible for creating the vapor from your vape liquid. The battery heats the coil inside the atomizer when you press the “fire” button on your box mod or vape pen. Your atomizer also contains a coil wick to attract the right amount of e-liquid to the coil.

The Vape Tank
The tank is the tube or container that holds your vape liquid. It attaches to your wick and coil, then connects to your battery. The capacity of a tank refers to how much e-liquid the tank will hold. Typically, a tank has a capacity of 1.6 ml or more. The larger your tank, the less often you will need to refill. Most tanks have a 510 connection to attach to the battery. The 510 connection is standard for a large assortment of batteries and mods.
Now that you know how the parts work together, you may have a better indication of what you need to find. - Preferable for stealth vaping
- Delivers a stronger sensation in the throat (throat hit)
- Delivers a stronger sensation in the throat (throat hit)
- Allows stronger delivery of flavor
Vegetable Glycerine
Most vegetable glycerine is made from palm oil. It is often used to keep chocolate and icing soft or make thin products thicker. Vegetable glycerine is also used to make the gel capsule that holds medications. When used in your vape liquid, VG offers:
- A thicker consistency
- Increased vapor output
- A smoother feel in your mouth
- Slightly muted flavor
Understanding Nicotine Levels
The nicotine levels in your vape juice are specified by either milligrams, or percentage, of nicotine. If you see that the nicotine level is 1.8 percent, that means it contains 18 milligrams per milliliter of e-liquid. 2.4 percent is 24 milligrams. Knowing this information makes it less confusing as you scout your options.
